Access from the outside is possible with any lock via the locking cylinder (normal lock function). Handle-controlled locks can also be opened after electronic release using the door handle, e.g. in external access control systems. Barrier-free access points unlock in a motorised manner without actuating a door handle, e.g. in connection with an automatic actuator ED 100/250.
